2nd Herrington (St Chads) Guides

Young achiever’s is an annual award ceremony ran by ‘Together for Children’ to recognise the achievements of young people in Sunderland.

St Chad’s Guides have ran an annual pantomime for a number of years, but changes to the unit had meant this may not continue. However luckily our unit has grown and gone from strength to strength since September . The girls worked extremely hard in a number of rehearsals between October – March, in and out of unit meetings and with a final cast of 44 girls!

The girls won the music and performance group category for their extremely hard work towards the pantomime this year.

We raised £1175 for unit funds and sold out the show both nights for the first time in years.
