Camp House
Camp House is owned jointly by Girlguiding Durham North and Girlguiding Durham South. It is situated in the Whitworth Park Estate, Spennymoor with beautiful views of rolling countryside.
It has it’s own woodland ‘Church Woods’ covering almost 3 hectares with squirrels, rabbits, visiting badgers, foxes and deer. It is beautiful during Spring with snowdrops and bluebells with ferns in the Summer.
Camp House is available all year round for residential activities and is entirely self catering. Electric heating and hot water are included in the hire cost.
Camp House is also available for day hire, evening hire and birthday parties.
Accommodation for up to 30 people.
2025 Hire Costs:-
- Weekend (Friday – Sunday)- £450
- Overnight – £225
- Hourly rate – £50
